Share a custom report
When you create a custom report and save it, only you have access to it. On the list of reports, the Visibility within account column shows that the report is Private.
You can share the report with other users within your account.
- From the Reporting left menu, go to Custom reports > Custom reports list.
- Click the three dots icon next to the private report you want to share. Alternatively, open the report and click the three dots icon at the top.
- Click Share.
- Click Share to confirm.
The report is shared with all authorized users within the account. The Visibility within account column shows the report as Public. All other users can see and work with the report. Only you can edit it.
Share a link to a report
When a report is public, which means it is visible to all authorized users within your account, you can share a link to it.
- From the Reporting left menu, go to Custom reports > Custom reports list.
- Open the report.
- Click the link icon at the top.
The link is copied to clipboard and you can send it to other users.
Stop sharing a report
You can hide the report from other users from your account. Note that this may disrupt workflows or access to data across your organization.
- In the Reporting left menu, go to Custom reports > Custom reports list.
- Click the three dots icon next to the report you want to hide. Alternatively, open the report and click the three dots icon at the top.
- Click Stop sharing.
- Click Stop sharing to confirm.
The report’s visibility is now restricted. Only you can see it. You can share it again to make it public.
Edit a custom report
You can edit only the reports you’ve created, but not the reports shared with you. When you share a report with other users within the account, only you can make changes to it. When you edit a shared report, all users within the account see your changes.
- In the Reporting left menu, go to Custom reports > Custom reports list.
- Click the three dots icon next to the report you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
Alternatively, you can open the report and click the edit icon at the top. - Modify the report.
- Click Save.
Your changes are now saved.
Save the edited report as a new report
While editing a report, you can save it as a new report under a different name and URL.
- Edit the report.
- Click the three dots icon at the top.
- Click Save as.
- Enter a new report name and, optionally, change the URL.
- Click Save.
Your new report is saved. You can access it on the Custom report list.
Duplicate a custom report
When you duplicate a report, you create a new copy of the report, which you can modify as needed and save under a new name. You can duplicate both the reports you created and the reports shared with you.
- In the Reporting left menu, go to Custom reports > Custom reports list.
- Open the report you want to duplicate.
- Click the three dots icon at the top.
- Click Duplicate.
- This creates a new working copy of the report. Modify the report as needed.
- Click Save.
- Enter the report name and a URL.
- Click Save.
The report is now saved. You can access it on the Custom reports list.
Delete a custom report
You can remove a report you created from custom reports.
- In the Reporting left menu, go to Custom reports > Custom reports list.
- Click the three dots icon next to the report you want to delete. Alternatively, you can open the report and click the three dots icon at the top.
- Click Delete.
- Click Yes, remove to confirm.
The report is now deleted.
