VM image versioning

Each virtual machine image provided in this deployment model includes a preconfigured reverse proxy and Protector. To ensure transparency and traceability across updates, the App & API Protector Hybrid reverse proxy VM image is versioned independently from the Protector software.

The reverse proxy VM image version identifies the full software environment packaged into the image, which includes:

• Operating System version
• Bundled Protector software version
• Ingress Controller type and version
• Installed system libraries
• Script versions
• Daemon services version running on the VM
