Content Provider codes

Content Provider codes are tags used for billing, reporting, and other tasks where visibility into your services is important.

Content Provider Codes (CP codes) are alpha-numeric identifiers that you use to tag your content as requests come in from end users. This lets you pull reports and track content served, as well as help separate your content for billing purposes.

CP codes are one of three objects you need to create the configurations that tell our edge servers how to serve your content. Normally you'd create one in Property Manager, the main tool for configuring your services, or in the CP code application.

To help you get up and running faster, we're making a CP code for you. You won't see it as you're getting started, but you can find it in the CP code application once you activate your settings.
