Use these instructions if you want to add new hostnames to an existing Web Application Protector or App & API Protector configuration.

You may already have Web Application Protector or App & API Protector on your account, but when you add new hostnames, you'll still need to set up a delivery configuration first.

How to

1. Follow the instructions for setting up your base delivery product.

   • Ion-only
   • Dynamic Site Accelerator-only

2. Test your site.

3. Navigate to the Web Application Protector or App & API Protector application and add your hostnames to the existing configuration:

   1. Click ☰ > WEB & DATA CENTER SECURITY > Security Configurations > Web Security. Your account only has one Web Application Protector or App & API Protector configuration at a time. The application opens to your configuration's overview.

   2. Click Edit Last Created Version.

   3. Then, in Hostnames currently associated with this configuration, click the edit icon. A window opens.

   4. Select the hostnames you just configured in your delivery product. Then, click the right-facing arrow to add it to your security configuration.

   5. Click Save.

   6. Click Activate.
