Save views

After you create a dashboard with widgets you use most often, save the view so that it's ready to use when you need it.

After you build your dashboard or change anything in your current view, like:

  • add a widget
  • resize a widget
  • add a filter.
  1. Click the Save View button that appears at the top of the page.
    In the window that opens:

  2. Enter the name of your view.

  3. Optional: Add a description with the details of the view or the use case it was created for.

  4. Click the time range and select the range you want.
    Note that the Custom range option copies the current time range of the dashboard.

  5. Click Save
    You can find saved views on the list when you click the Statistics header at the top of the page.

If, at any point of dashboard creation, you want to undo your changes, click the Revert changes button that appears at the top of the page.

Edit a view

  1. Click the Statistics header at the top of the page and select a view you want to modify.

  2. Make your changes.

  3. Click the Update view button that appears at the top of the page.

Manage views

  1. Click the Statistics header and click more actions icon.

    In the window that opens, you can switch between the tabs with All views and Favorites

  2. Hover over more actions icon next to a view's name to:

    • edit the view
    • copy a link to the view
    • delete the view.
  3. Click Close

The views are saved for a specific user, on the current account. To share views with your team, copy its link.
Favorite views are saved for a specific user and are visible on all the accounts the user logs in to.

Set the default view

If you want a view to appear when you open Web Security Analytics, click the Statistics header at the top of the page and hover over the view you chose. Turn on the switch that appears and the selected view moves to the top of the list.

To change the default, select a different view and turn its switch on.

You can anchor your saved view and make it appear in My Favorites by adding a star next to its name. To make that the default view whenever you open the Statistics page, toggle the switch right next to its name in My Favorites.
