Set up Download Delivery

Follow these phases to get set up with a new Download Delivery property.

1. Create a new Download Delivery property. Quickly create a new Download Delivery property in Property Manager.

2. Define Property Hostnames. Associate the domain for your streaming media with an ​Akamai​ domain, so requests for it resolve to the ​Akamai​ edge network where your media is cached.

3. Define Property Configuration Settings. Set up best practice delivery features to streamline and protect your content.

4. Finalize your Download Delivery property. Do a few final things in and out of your Download Delivery property to get ready to test it.
