Create a workspace

This operation creates a workspace. A workspace stores all configurations for your service, such as environments, origins, hostnames, and rules, keeping them separate from other workspaces in your account.

You use workspaces to:

  • Manage all software development phases of your service as distinct environments.
  • Manage content delivery for a collection of hostnames that share similar settings.
  • Define ownership boundaries to support easy team collaboration.
  • Unify all resources pertaining to your application or service.
Query Params
string

For customers who manage more than one account, this runs the operation from another account. The Identity and Access Management API provides a list of available account switch keys.

Additional groups provide a mechanism for cross-team collaboration. You can create these groups in Identity and Access Management to grant fine-grained, functional access to secondary teams. These teams can then interact with, view, or test specific components, such as individual environments or rule sets, without owning the underlying infrastructure.
