View and manage notification channels
The Notification channels widget provides a clear overview of all third-party messaging platforms and custom webhooks configured for your Web Security Analytics alerts. You use this table to track your delivery endpoints and manage the operational state of your external integrations.
Channel details
The table organizes information for each integration:

Type. Displays the icon and name of the messaging platform, such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or PagerDuty.

Name. Displays the unique label you assigned to identify the specific channel.

URL. Shows the endpoint address (link) where the system delivers the notifications.

Last modified. Shows the date and time of the most recent update to the channel's configuration.

Used in. Indicates the total number of active alerts currently utilizing this specific notification channel.

Status. Displays a toggle showing if the channel is active and ready for use. Turn this toggle on to make the channel selectable in your alert menus, or turn it off to hide it from all alert configuration settings.
Hidden channels do not appear as selectable choices when configuring Web Security Analytics alerts.
You can turn this toggle off only if the channel is not assigned to any alerts. To change the channel status to unavailable, its Used in count must be 0.
Manage notification channels
If you have the IDM: Users - Admin Access role, you can modify these channels using the All actions button:
- Edit. Modify the channel name, update the endpoint URL, or change the secret token. Click Save for changes to take effect.
- Delete. Permanently remove the notification channel from your account.
Reassign alerts before deleting or disabling a channelTo protect your alerting workflows, the system prevents you from deleting or disabling any channel currently in use, regardless of whether the associated alerts are enabled or disabled. You must first reassign all referencing alerts to a new destination.
