Add new notification channels

You can integrate your alerts directly into the third-party messaging platforms your team uses every day. This centralizes your communication workflow and ensures that the right people receive the right information exactly where they work.

To add a new notification channel:

1. In the Security Notification Settings dashboard, click + Add new channel.
2. Choose a platform for your notifications, such as Slack, Webex Spaces, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, PagerDuty, or Webhooks.
3. Enter a unique name for the channel to help your team identify it.
4. Paste the link you generated from your messaging platform. See integration instructions
5. Enter a secret token if your specific integration requires one for authentication.
6. Click Create.

The system validates all new endpoints before registering them in the database. If the validation fails, you receive a message indicating an issue with the endpoint details provided.

After you create the channel, ​Web Security Analytics alerts are sent to your channel type.
