Sensitive request headers

You can use sensitive request headers to send sensitive data in a request, for example user data or authorization keys. If a request header is marked as sensitive, Edge Diagnostics uses the provided data when running a request but after completing it, the data are not stored in the Edge Diagnostics database.

You can mark any request header as sensitive, but the following are treated as sensitive by Edge Diagnostics by default:

  • Authorization
  • All headers containing API-Key
  • Proxy-Authorization
  • x-amz-security-token
