Jun 19, 2018 — New Property Manager origin settings with Amazon S3
If you use an Amazon S3 origin, you will no longer be able to “pin” the origin certificate in the Property Manager origin behavior Origin SSL Certificate Verification section. This is due to the frequent nature of certificate rotation by Amazon S3 services and resulting outages when retrieving content from your origin. If you use an Amazon S3 origin, for verification settings, choose ‘Third Party Settings’ or ‘Choose Your Own’ with Trust Option ‘Akamai-managed Certificate Authorities Sets’ and ‘Third Party Certificate Store’ Enabled.

Mar 23, 2018 — New Allow OPTIONS behavior
The Allow OPTIONS behavior is a new behavior available in the Property Manager catalog. This behavior controls whether OPTIONS requests are allowed through the Akamai platform. OPTIONS requests are never cached and will always go to the customer origin. Since August 2017, OPTIONS requests have been enabled by default, so this behavior has been introduced to allow customers to disable OPTIONS requests.

Custom Behaviors is a new Property Manager capability that addresses most of the problems with advanced metadata, providing a library of customer specific functionality that can be self serviced. It is included free of charge with any product that is configured using Property Manager.

Aug 1, 2017 — New HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) behavior
The HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) behavior is a new behavior available in the Property Manager catalog for secure properties. This behavior controls the HSTS response header sent back to the client. The HSTS header can be used to tell web clients that they should only connect to a secure property via HTTPS (and not HTTP), to help prevent protocol downgrade attacks. It is recommended that all secure properties send an HSTS header.
Jul 1, 2017 — Updates for the Log Request Details behavior
Property Manager 's Log Request Details behavior now includes support for the custom log field. The custom log field is truncated to 40 characters and you must select a Log Delivery Service log format that includes the “Custom Field”.
