The HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) behavior is a new behavior available in the Property Manager catalog for secure properties. This behavior controls the HSTS response header sent back to the client. The HSTS header can be used to tell web clients that they should only connect to a secure property via HTTPS (and not HTTP), to help prevent protocol downgrade attacks. It is recommended that all secure properties send an HSTS header.

Property Manager 's Log Request Details behavior now includes support for the custom log field. The custom log field is truncated to 40 characters and you must select a Log Delivery Service log format that includes the “Custom Field”.

Property Manager now supports variables. Variable Support gives you more control over your configuration. It lets you create complex configurations without calling your support representative to implement advanced metadata. A number of built-in variables as well as user-defined variables are provided,with detailed documentation.

Improved validation messaging for the NetStorage origin.

Improved error messaging for PAPI user when creating a property with a bad name. The new message includes information to fix the error. Example message: “The property name a$bad#name!!! is invalid. A name must only contain letters, numbers, and these characters: . _ -” and “The name this.name.exists is already being used.”

New PAPI endpoint for listing behaviors and matches, new operations for rule comments, improved error messages, and redesigned UI options.
