May 1, 2023 – New Hostname Buckets feature in Limited Availability

Hostname buckets are primarily intended for SaaS/PaaS providers who manage tens of thousands custom domain hostnames. This feature removes the current limit of 1,000 hostnames per property. With hostname buckets, you can:

• Add or remove hostnames from the property level, without incrementing the property version.
• Safely make changes to the property configuration logic and roll them back without the risk of accidentally removing hostnames and disturbing the traffic to your sites.
• Check details about added and removed hostnames in the audit trail.
• Add the hostname to the property and provision a TLS certificate at the same time as hostname buckets integrate seamlessly with default DV certificates.
• Use a single property configuration with business rules and behaviors such as CP code for all hostnames in the bucket.

Hostname buckets are supported in the Property Manager's UI and API. As this feature is still in limited availability, to request access, please reach out to your account team.
