May 15, 2023 – Behavior updates
over 1 year ago by cverner@akamai.com
- The HTTP/3 behavior is in General Availability: You can now include this behavior to support secure HTTP/3 connections between requesting clients and the Akamai edge. HTTP/3 keeps HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 concepts, but it moves away from the conventional transmission control protocol (TCP) transport layer. HTTP/3 uses the IETF QUIC protocol instead. It handles streams by itself which supports improved performance and a faster connection setup. For complete details, see the HTTP/3 documentation.
- The Global Request Number behavior has been updated to ensure that it only returns a single response header or sends a single request header forwards from the Akamai server that is initially contacted by the client. For complete details, see the Global Request Number documentation.
