Supported locations

Direct Connect can be set up in data centers in several geographical locations.

To check if there’s a data center in your region that supports Direct Connect, view the list of peering facilities on the Peering DB website.

This information is also available in ​Control Center​. Click Locations on the Direct Connect page.

Click on the arrows next to the Location Name, to see the Router Set Name.

What if I'm not co-located with an Akamai Direct Connect data center

If you are not co-located in one of the existing Akamai Direct Connect data centers it is still possible to gain the benefits of Akamai Direct Connect. This is accomplished by purchasing connectivity from a 3rd party to bridge the connection from your the data center where your applications and content resides to the Akamai Direct Connect data center.
