Welcome to Cloud Access Manager
Cloud Access Manager enables cloud origin authentication and allows you to securely store and manage your cloud origin credentials in the form of access keys. It is also an interconnection between the Akamai Intelligent PlatformTM and a cloud provider that lets you reference access keys in multiple products and properties within your account.
You can use Cloud Access Manager to rotate the access keys that your properties use. You can also version your access keys and update the authentication parameters stored in them.
Cloud Access Manager supports cloud origin authentication for the following providers:
- Google Cloud Storage in interoperability mode
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
In addition to the currently supported third-party origin servers, you can use Cloud Access Manager to manage authentication for Akamai Video Manager powered by Cloudinary, and add Akamai Object Storage as the origin server.
Once Cloud Access Manager is enabled, the secret access key is encrypted and will not be visible to anyone, including Akamai. This may affect the way we work with you to troubleshoot issues.
