Delete a domain validation

Delete a domain validation if you don’t need to use it any longer. For example, when you lose ownership of the domain or you deactivate a property Deleting a domain is a two-stage process. First, invalidate the domain and only then can you delete it. If you delete a domain, ​Akamai​ will no longer recognize you as its owner.

1. From the ​Akamai Control Center​ menu, select the Domain Validation Manager. You can find all invalidated domains in the Invalidated tab.
2. From the list, select the domain you want to delete and click the Action menu icon.
3. Click Delete.

The domain is now deleted. If you want to use it again, you need to resubmit it for validation.
