The Domain Ownership Manager API automates the validation of domain ownership for onboarding onto the ​Akamai​ platform. Use this API to view domains and check their validation status, submit new domains for validation, and to invalidate and delete the domains you no longer use.

Domain ownership validation is a new process that helps us keep your domain safe and prevent unauthorized use of hostnames on the ​Akamai​ network.
