Concepts

Familiarize yourself with these common terms used in this API:

  • Destination. A resource that specifies endpoints where you can send Aura log data for processing and analysis. This resource also specifies certificate key pairs and caCertificates. Destinations options are Hydrolix tables, Kafka topics, or Loki databases.
  • Stream. A flow of logs from a specified source sent to a destination in near real-time. Only a single steam is allowed per source and destination.
  • Source. The origin and type of log data. For example, HPC access logs or Multicast Generator ingest logs.
  • Service. An Aura HyperCache, Request Router, or Multicast service node that generates customer logs that are available for streaming.
