Dec 9, 2022 — Akamai Zero Trust Client 5.0 Beta availability launch
Zero Trust Client (ZTC) improves upon and combines the functionality of the Enterprise Application Access (EAA) Client and the Enterprise Threat Protector (ETP) Client into a one-stop solution that lets you secure your network and deliver your applications that run behind a firewall or in a public cloud. ZTC is designed to streamline the experience for both IT admins and end-users, featuring an all-new OTA update mechanism and improved device inventory management. With a single installer and tray bar icon, ZTC delivers an accessible and easy to navigate hub that consists of two components, available depending on the type of your contract:
Access. It's a secure remote access service that lets you protect your applications from Internet threats while giving easy access to your contractors, partners, vendors, and employees.
Threat Protection. It’s a cloud-based, targeted threat protection solution that safeguards your organization from DNS and web-based threats, enforces authentication and acceptable use policies, and audits user Internet access.
