​Secure Internet Access Enterprise​ (​SIA​) now includes these updates:

​ETP Client​ 4.3 for macOS is now available for upgrade or deployment. With this update, you can use ​ETP Client​ as a transparent proxy on macOS. When the Transparent Traffic Interception client configuration setting is enabled with the full web proxy, ​ETP Client​ uses the Apple Network Extension framework to intercept and capture traffic without modifying browser or operating system settings. ​ETP Client​ then directs DNS traffic to ​SIA​ resolvers and web traffic to ​SIA​ Proxy for scanning.

​ETP Client​ 3.8 for macOS is now available. This version resolves a rare issue on macOS Monterey where ​ETP Client​ used a resolver that was not available anymore.

​Akamai​ recently changed the name of Enterprise Threat Protector to Secure Internet Access. However, you may find that Enterprise Threat Protector is still used in items associated with the product. Our goal is to replace the Enterprise Threat Protector product name by the end of 2022.

These updates are now available in ​SIA​:

​ETP Client​ 4.1 is now available for installation. With this update, you can now use ​ETP Client​ as a transparent proxy on Windows 10 (64-bit version) and Windows 11. A new Transparent traffic interception option is available in the ​ETP Client​ Configuration page of Enterprise Center. When this setting is enabled with the full web proxy, ​ETP Client​ intercepts and captures traffic without modifying browser or operating system settings. ​ETP Client​ then directs DNS traffic to ​SIA​ resolvers and web traffic to ​SIA​ Proxy for scanning.
