Welcome to Edge Hostnames

An edge hostname is the CNAME target you use when directing your users' traffic to ​Akamai​. The edge hostname maps your users to the optimal edge server, providing them with the best available experience.

After you create edge hostnames in Property Manager, you can use Edge Hostname Editor in Control Center to maintain them or to remove them from use.
