We've launched the standard E3 endpoint in Chennai, India. It's now generally available (GA) to all customers.
This endpoint offers Amazon S3-compatible object storage:
- You get an SSD-backed infrastructure for high performance and low-latency applications.
- You can utilize up to one Tbps of throughput.
- You can store petabytes (PBs) of content.
- You get a consistent set of compliance standards globally. (See the Akamai Trust Center for details.)
