Apr 10, 2026 — LKE Enterprise Kubernetes v1.32 support
about 23 hours ago
In this release of LKE Enterprise, Kubernetes v1.32 is now supported. When creating a new cluster or upgrading an existing cluster, select v1.32.9-lke2 (or higher) as the Kubernetes version.
New
- Kubernetes v1.32 can now be deployed on LKE Enterprise clusters.
Fixed
- Fixed issues when using audit logs with LKE Enterprise. Previously, the system could have attempted to create audit logs in a region other than the region of the cluster. Now, if the region does not support ACLP metrics and/or ACLP audit logs, the cluster will not be created.
Upgrade notes
You can upgrade existing LKE Enterprise clusters to v1.32 with the following considerations. For full upgrade instructions, see Upgrade an LKE Enterprise cluster to a newer Kubernetes version.
- Previous individual changes like ARP tuning via daemonset should be removed prior to upgrading. ARP changes are now rolled into this release.
- To prevent degraded performance when worker nodes reach the upper limits of their assigned CPU resources, CPU resources in v1.32 are allocated slightly differently than in previous versions. As always, if you are running performance-sensitive applications and anticipate using the maximum resources allocated to your worker nodes, you may want to consider scaling up your node pool or increasing the size of your worker nodes.
- When upgrading a cluster in Cloud Manager, an internal error may be displayed. To workaround this issue, return to the cluster landing page.
- Cloud Manager may display an upgrade message that shows v1.32.8-lke13 as the latest version instead of v1.32.9-lke2 (or higher). If you encounter this message, you may run into issues upgrading through Cloud Manager and can instead upgrade using the Linode API or CLI.
