We've redesigned the documentation experience for Purge Cache to make it easier for you to find the guides, API docs, and resources you need. Everything is now in one place. A new user interface for the Enhanced Content Control Utility (ECCU) is available. The ECCU is used to purge content by directory or file extension. This interface has the same functionality as before, but with updated components that improve the user experience.

The Fast Purge utility’s purge by CP code is now in Limited Availability (LA). This additional option lets you refresh specific cached objects or remove all objects by CP code across our edge network, in just a few seconds. You can automate Fast Purge by CP Code with our Fast Purge API, which provides a programmatic interface for developers.

For Beta customers only, our Fast Purge utility now gives you the additional option to refresh specific cached objects or remove all objects by cache tag across our edge network, in just a few seconds.

The Fast Purge user interface and CCU v3 API will be available to all customers within the Q2–2017 time frame.

All customers will have automatic access to the new Fast Purge user interface (UI) between early September and the end of October, 2016. If it’s already available on your account, you can find it on the Publish tab in Control Center.
