Identity and Access Management API v3 Migration

We’re excited to announce the release of the new Single Sign-On configuration API. Use this API to manage your IdP (identity provider) certificates. For details on how to manage all functions and information related to SSO, see Get started with SSO with SAML.

The Identity and Access Management API v3 Postman collection (beta) is now available! Try the API, build workflows, and stay on top of development changes.

• These API services are now combined into a single Identity and Access Management API:

  • Identity Management User Administration API
  • Identity Management API
  • Identity Management IP Allowlist API

• Enhancements were made to the list of APIs available for customers to manage their Akamai Identities. In the previous version of the API, an API client could only manage its own credentials. This version lets account users and Admins manage their API clients and client credentials. Supported operations include create, update, delete, lock, or unlock API clients.
