Enterprise Application Access (EAA) updates.
Akamai EAA new features
Microphone support for RDP Applications. End users can redirect the microphone on their local machine for using the microphone option in the EAA RDP application.
Disable inactive users from Cloud Directory and send notifications. The EAA Cloud Directory automates the deactivation of inactive users for enhanced security and simplifies user management. When enabled, inactive users receive a warning notification and disabled notification.
Download users and groups from Cloud directory. You can download users’ information as a .csv file and download groups’ information as an excel file for a Cloud Directory.
Regex-based location rewrite rules. Allows you to specify location based rewrite rules with regular expressions greatly reducing the number of rules and improving the admin's productivity. When enabled, regex rules are applied for matching conditions. When disabled exact matching is performed.
View EAA connector metrics in Dynatrace. You can integrate SIEM with Dynatrace SIEM to send EAA connector metrics and visualize the data in Dynatrace.
Stream EAA Access Logs to Elasticsearch. You can stream EAA Access Logs to Elasticsearch SIEM to monitor the access data for your applications.
Akamai Control Center Global Menu redesign. The Akamai Control Center menu has a fresh design that provides more visibility into Akamai's full range of products and services. There is more consistency across Akamai's interfaces, such as TechDocs and Akamai.com, for easier switching between API docs, portals, and other interfaces. You can find your products and services in the new menu by browsing, filtering, or searching. For more details, refer to Access your services in Akamai Control Center documentation.
To access Enterprise Center and Enterprise Application Access, the old menu paths and new menu paths are:

You can switch back to the old menu for the next 30 days, as you get comfortable with the new layout.
Fixed customer bugs
You can have the period character in request headers by enabling the Allow periods in header option in the Application’s Advanced settings. For example, if your request header is company.com.request-ID, it has “.” in it. It is forwarded to the origin server without getting silently dropped. Contact Akamai support to enable it in your contract, if you need this behavior.
