Enterprise Application Access (EAA) updates
Akamai EAA new features
Application Access Groups (Beta). An Application Access Group (AAG) is a group of EAA applications that are served by the same set of connectors in the Connector Pool to service the application traffic, and may use the same Authentication and Authorization rules. This is a beta feature and can be enabled by contacting Akamai support.
Exclude Identity and Access Ruleset of AAG from Application. When you add a new application to an Application Access Group (AAG), you have the option to use the AAG’s Identity and Access Ruleset or use the Application’s authentication and access settings for configuration. You will need to contact Akamai support to enable Application Access Groups, to use this feature.
New Application Details Report. Customers can now generate a monthly Application Details Report by navigating to Application Access > Reports > Application Details. The report provides details like the Application Name, Application Type, CName (Canonical Name) of the application, Server and ports of the origin, last modified date, and last deployed date. You will need to contact Akamai support to enable this report.
Fixed customer bugs
- When you delete a group in an Azure SCIM directory, it does not get deleted in EAA. This issue has been fixed.
