This release introduces the Akamai Distribution of the OpenTelemetry Collector for Akamai Cloud Pulse, provided under the Apache License 2.0.

This collector enables the collection, processing, and export of telemetry data, and includes a curated set of supported components that you can configure to meet your telemetry requirements.

Key Features / What's Included

  • Build artifacts: Provides a precompiled binary, Docker image, and Helm chart for Kubernetes
  • Sample configuration file: Includes a sample config.yaml with example receivers, processors, exporters, and extensions
  • Configurable components: You can modify component parameters to fit your environment
