This release includes updates to how scheduled maintenance events are handled on Akamai Cloud. Specifically, scheduled maintenance events now factor in a Linode’s placement group assignment to limit simultaneous maintenance events for Linodes that perform similar functions. • Within an anti-affinity placement group, Akamai limits the number of Linodes that undergo scheduled maintenance at the same time. This reduces the number of simultaneous maintenance events for Linodes that perform similar workloads and helps avoid downtime for your application.

• You can now add up to 250 Linodes to flexible placement groups.
