Apr 7, 2026 — Cloud logs updates

Cloud logs (limited availability) now support custom HTTPS destinations. Enhancements have also been made to the destination creation workflow and stream status reporting.

Custom HTTPS Destinations

Cloud Logs now supports sending log data to custom HTTPS destinations. This enables integration with a wide range of external systems, including messaging queues and other custom ingestion endpoints. It also provides greater flexibility in how and where you process your logs. For more information about custom HTTP destinations, see Log destinations.

Destination Creation Workflow

The destination creation experience has been enhanced to enable automatic selection of existing buckets. This reduces manual steps and the time required to set up log delivery.

Stream Status Visibility

Stream status reporting is now more accurate and transparent, with clearer visibility into each stage of the stream lifecycle:

  • Provisioning: Initial setup is in progress. Log delivery will begin once setup is complete.
  • Active: The stream has been successfully configured and is delivering logs.
  • Inactive: The stream has been deactivated by the user. It The configuration still exists but streaming is paused.

This improvement makes it easier to monitor stream health and diagnose issues more efficiently.
