Akamai Zero Trust Client 3.0 for Android is now available. You can update the client in the Google Play Store.

New features and improvements

(Beta) Secure Web Gateway (SWG) support. The mobile client now supports SIA Proxy, enabling you to protect your enterprise network from threats that target HTTP or HTTPS traffic. To learn how to select a proxy type for mobile devices in SIA, refer to the SIA documentation. You need to set up a SIA Proxy MITM certificate on the mobile device to use SIA Proxy. This feature is available in beta.
Activate Threat Protection using MDM solutions. With this release, you can specify the Threat Protection activation or entitlement code when deploying the mobile client with MDM solutions.
Threat Protection now supports IPv6-only networks.

Limitations

Chrome version 127 or later users may encounter a Connection is not secure error when making HTTPS DNS queries in Incognito mode on Android. This issue occurs due to the HTTPS-First Mode in Incognito flag being enabled by default in Chrome. To proceed to the website, users can tap Continue to site, switch to regular browsing mode, or disable the HTTPS-First Mode in Incognito flag in chrome://flags.
Proxy (Browser only mode) isn’t supported at this time.
