Aug 25, 2021 — Akamai MFA release
New features and enhancements
-
Akamai Krypton (
akr
) FIDO2 SSH Agent (beta). This capability is an alternative to the existing Akamai MFA Unix PAM integration and allows you to protect your SSH logins. -
With the enhanced MFA Dashboard, you can navigate from widgets presenting user statuses or authentication data to more detailed information on the Users page or in the Authentication events report.
-
Include Existing Users when configuring User Provisioning. This capability lets you update the source of provisioning for users already existing in Akamai MFA. This allows you to change user provisioning methods, for example, from manual to SCIM integration, without forcing users who have been previously provisioned to re-enroll their devices.
Known issues
-
When enrolling your trusted device with the Microsoft Authenticator app, you may receive the 'Invalid Activation barcode' error message.
Workaround: If you receive the 'Invalid Activation barcode' message, you can enroll in the Microsoft Authenticator app by entering the code manually. -
When a new user enrolls and authenticates by following an email enrollment link, the Integration field of the Authentication events report is left blank.
-
Clicking the background image during the authentication to the Remote Desktop server with the Akamai MFA Windows logon plug-in hides the Akamai MFA authentication prompt.
Workaround. There is currently no workaround.
