v4.190.0
Local disk encryption is available for Linodes, and LKEs. The platform automatically manages the encryption and decryption for you. To learn more, see Disk Encryption.
Changed
- Linode intances. Set and view disk encryption for the Linode. Use Create a Linode to initially enable or disable disk encryption. Use Rebuild a Linode to change the encryption setting. Updated operations and responses:
- Create a Linode (POST /linode/instances )
- List Linodes (GET /linode/instances )
- Get a Linode (GET /linode/instances/{linodeId} )
- Update a Linode (PUT /Linode/instances/{linodeId} )
- Rebuild a Linode (POST /linode/instances/{linodeId}/rebuild )
- Linode Disks. The encryption setting for the disk is the same as the Linode's. Updated responses:
- Create a disk (POST /linode/instances/{linodeId}/disks )
- List disks (GET /linode/instances/{linodeId}/disks )
- Get a disk (GET /linode/instances/{linodeId}/disks/{diskId} )
- Update a disk (PUT /linode/instances/{linodeId}/disks/{diskId} )
- Clone a disk (POST /linode/instances/{linodeId}/disks/{diskId}/clone )
- LKE Node pools. View disk encryption status for node pools. Updated responses:
- Create a node pool (POST /lke/clusters/{clusterId}/pools )
- List node pools (GET /lke/clusters/{clusterId}/pools )
- Get a node pool (GET lke/clusters/{clusterId}/pools/{poolId} )
- Update a node pool (PUT /lke/clusters/{clusterId}/pools/{poolId})
