Aug 21, 2025 — Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent 7.1.1-v51.9 limited availability

Guardicore Platform Agent​ 7.1.1 is now in limited availability. Go to ​Akamai​ Control Center > Enterprise Center > Clients & Connectors > Manage and Download Clients to deploy the upgrade. If version 7.1.1 isn’t available to you and you’d like to upgrade, contact your ​Akamai​ account representative. New features and improvements

  • Guardicore Segmentation. Guardicore Platform Agent now supports the following features and enhancements:

    • You can now upgrade to a Segmentation-enabled 7.1.1 or later version of the agent if your current Guardicore Platform Agent installation isn’t set up with Segmentation.
    • You can now upgrade the standalone Guardicore agent to Guardicore Platform Agent without having to first uninstall the standalone agent manually.

  • Enterprise Application Access. Guardicore Platform Agent now supports the following EAA features and enhancements:

    • The Access certificate used to authenticate clients has been moved from the System Keychain to the Login Keychain on macOS. This change ensures that any user can trust the certificate when prompted, reducing the need for elevated permissions.
    • The Access certificate is now retained when you upgrade Guardicore Platform Agent to a new version.

Limitations

  • Guardicore Segmentation isn’t supported on Windows ARM-based devices.
  • The agent installer for Windows on ARM isn't available in Enterprise Center at this time. Contact ​Akamai​ support to get access to the installer.

Guardicore Platform Agent 7.1.1 supports the following macOS versions:

  • macOS 13 (Ventura)
  • macOS 14 (Sonoma)
  • macOS 15 (Sequoia)
