This GTM release includes the following new features.

  • Self-serve domain deletes. Users with write access can delete GTM domains without Akamai assistance.

  • Faster traffic reporting. Akamai now uses a new backend component for reporting data distribution and collection. This component allows for faster log delivery to the reporting systems, and enriches log data with metadata such as geolocation for the source of each query.

  • ICP-compliant GTM namespace. GTM now allows for an alternative namespace to akadns.net for GTM load balancing domain names. The namespace akadns99.net is available for domain names that require China Internet Content Provider (ICP)-compliant workflow.
