Guardicore Platform Agent 7.1.0 now includes these updates to the DNS Firewall (formerly called Threat Protection) service:
- New Protected Offline status. The agent now shows a Protected Offline status for DNS Firewall when its unable to reach SIA. In this situation, the agent applies the last known SIA policy to traffic.
- Support for uninstall code on Mac. The Allow uninstall on Windows with code configuration setting and the code that appears when the setting is enabled is now supported on macOS. The name of the setting on the Manage and Download Clients page (Clients & Connectors > Manage and Download Clients) will be updated in a future release.
- Block all traffic from an application. If the SIA proxy is enabled, you can now block all traffic from a specific application. To use this feature, contact your Akamai representative.
