Starting now, you can choose Dynatrace as a qualified destination to send log data in the DataStream 2 application and the API.

Some Akamai contracts specify usage-based network surcharge for third-party provider traffic. DataStream 2 now logs this traffic using the Network provider field that returns the ID of the provider you may be surcharged for.

As of today, we're introducing the DataStream 2.1.1 General Availability (GA) release, which adds the support for the EdgeWorkers log type in the DataStream application and API.

We are thrilled to announce the General Availability (GA) release, adding support for DNS-related logs (eDNS and GTM logs) in DataStream.

Starting now, you can log and calculate metrics and dimensions you may know from Reporting, using new and existing data sets supported by DataStream 2.

• Starting now, you can choose an S3-compatible endpoint as the destination to send log data in the DataStream application and the DataStream 2 API. See Stream logs to an S3-compatible destination in the user guide for details.
• We have introduced the Uploads/Errors metric to the DataStream dashboard. You can use it to check the number log files DataStream uploaded to the configured destination over the last 24 hours.
• You can log the new Time to first byte data field from the Network performance data data set for better insights into the traffic on your property. See Data set parameters for the complete list of data set fields currently available in DataStream 2.
• When choosing the log format in DataStream 2, you can now choose Tab as the delimiter for the Structured logs format (previously only space was available). 

You can now view new metrics, such as destination type and the number of data sets logged in each stream in the DataStream dashboard. See View and manage versions in the user guide for details.

You can choose the new Asnum field from the Network performance data data set to log the Autonomous System Number (ASN) of the request's internet service provider (ISP). See Data set parameters for the complete list of data set fields available in DataStream 2.
