Sep 10, 2026 - New EVENT option for AMD-created edge hostnames

A new segmented media mode delivery option called EVENT is available for edge hostnames created with Adaptive Media Delivery. Different than the LIVE setting, you can use the EVENT option for use cases like scheduled, online event content such as product launches, webinars, or conferences.
