Akamai Zero Trust Client Mobile 3.3 is now available. You can update the client in the Google Play Store.
New features and improvements
- Client reporting. The reporting and status indicators in both the client and Enterprise Center are now updated to more accurately reflect Access and Threat Protection service states.
- Device inventory. Device Serial Number is now displayed in the device inventory in Enterprise Center if the client was deployed using Google Workspace MDM.
- Log management. Zero Trust Client now displays a confirmation message after saving logs locally on iOS, iPadOS, and ChromeOS.
- Google Workspace MDM. You can now distribute the client on ChromeOS devices via Google Workspace. You can enable Always-On VPN in Google Workspace to enforce all traffic to be directed via Zero Trust Client at all times.

- Status & Reporting
- Fixed issues that caused the client to display an incorrect service status.
- Resolved an issue that prevented the client from pushing its status information to Enterprise Center at regular intervals.
- Ensured the client correctly reports the Protection disabled by admin status when an administrator disables Threat Protection in Enterprise Center.
- Connectivity & Protection
- Resolved a delay that prevented Threat Protection from being available immediately after updating the client.
- Ensured Threat Protection successfully falls back to local DNS resolution when unable to query SIA DNS.
- Fixed a VPN startup failure that occurred after rebooting the device in Access-only mode.
- ChromeOS Specific
- Fixed a login failure that occurred after clearing all app data.
- Resolved an issue where the Try Again button was unresponsive.
- Fixed landscape mode on ChromeOS.
