New features and improvements
- Temporarily deactivate Threat Protection. This functionality lets you disable Threat Protection for a specified duration. After the specified time elapses, Threat Protection automatically re-enables to ensure continued security. If your administrator allows it, you can also select to disable Threat Protection for an unlimited amount of time.
- Upload logs when disabling Threat Protection. This new capability lets you share client logs with your administrator when disabling Threat Protection.
- Japanese translation. Personalize your experience with the new display language customization available in the client’s settings.
- Info tab updates. You can copy all information from the Info tab with a single click. Other changes have been made for better clarity.
- Proxy support. Allows Zero Trust Client to route all traffic to a forward proxy before reaching the Enterprise Application Access (EAA) Cloud.
- Full Diagnostic improvements. The Full Diagnostic feature is always available, regardless of the client’s status.
- Quick Test improvements. We have expanded this diagnostic to test both Access and Threat Protection, allowing you to quickly troubleshoot both components at the same time.
Known issues
-
If you have a space in the username on the end-user's machine, full diagnostic cannot be run successfully for troubleshooting. As a work around, avoid using a space in the username.
-
Due to recent changes introduced by Apple in the latest macOS security updates, the auto-update feature in the following ZTC versions is affected and doesn’t function properly:
- 5.1.0,
- 5.1.2,
- 5.1.3.
As a result, ZTC versions prior to 5.2 don’t support auto-updates on macOS versions 13.4.1 (Ventura), 12.6.7 (Monterey), and later. Please note that manual update options are still available for affected systems. This issue is resolved in Zero Trust Client 5.2, which you can install manually or via your MDM solution.
