Jan 29, 2026 — Akamai Zero Trust Client Mobile 3.2

Akamai Zero Trust Client Mobile 3.2 is now available. You can update the client in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

New features and improvements

Fixed issues

  • The client now correctly updates its status when the internet connection is lost.
  • VPN on Android now establishes connection even if there are no applications configured in EAA.

Limitations

  • Chrome version 127 or later Android users may encounter a Connection is not secure error when making HTTPS DNS queries in Incognito mode on Android. This issue occurs due to the HTTPS-First Mode in Incognitoflag being enabled by default in Chrome. To proceed to the website, users can tap Continue to site, switch to regular browsing mode, or disable the HTTPS-First Mode in Incognito flag in chrome://flags.
  • On ChromeOS, if you switch from the browser to the Zero Trust Client app while authentication is still in progress in the browser, the authentication flow breaks and the user remains unauthenticated. Keep the browser open and visible until the authentication flow finishes to ensure successful authentication.
  • On ChromeOS, after logging out from Access, the logout page in the browser may remain open and continue displaying the logout animation instead of closing automatically. You can safely close the browser tab manually.
  • On ChromeOS, Zero Trust Client may launch in landscape orientation by default. While the app works correctly in landscape, portrait mode is recommended for the best user experience.
