As a core capability of Akamai's Web Application & API Protection platform, the new AI Assistant replaces the previous experience with centralized incident investigation and response workflows. This update lets you complete an entire investigation, from discovery to mitigation, within a single unified interface.
- Cross-context analysis via the Security View Analyzer. AI Assistant translates diverse telemetry into a shared language. Specifically, the Security View Analyzer feature delivers cross-context analysis, automatically correlating events across your security applications to present a single story of an attack within Web Security Analytics.
- Streamlined threat investigation. Utilizing a built-in View Manager alongside a Security View Analyzer, the assistant evaluates active views, applied parameters, and timeframes to provide immediate diagnostic insights.
- In-flow remediation. The assistant functions as an orchestration tool, eliminating the friction of moving from insight to action. You can now remediate threats through guided in-chat workflows and rule builders directly within the investigative context, rather than navigating to separate configuration menus.
- Dynamic security policy enforcement. You can instantly update attack group actions or create and apply a new custom rule to deny malicious requests.
