Mar 9, 2021 — Property Manager updates and bug fixes
almost 4 years ago by igkoprow@akamai.com
Feature updates available for Property Manager. The release also includes miscellaneous bug fixes and performance improvements.
Updated features:
- Hostnames table. Over the next few weeks we will be rolling out a new Property Manager hostnames table that will let you more quickly and easily see the status of the hostnames, and their related SSL/TLS certificates, on your property. You can take a guided tour of the enhancements once the updated table is enabled for your account. Property Manager API (PAPI) is not affected by this update.
- Origin Characteristics behavior.
- The “AWS Secret Access Key” field is no longer limited to 40 characters in length.
- Added Optional suffix to Hostname.
- Construct Response behavior. Added an option to the Construct Response behavior to exclude AKAMAI_PURGE and AKAMAI_TRANSLATE requests by wrapping the behavior xml in a request type.
- Construct Response behavior. Added the 417 (Expectation Failed) response code option.
Bug fixes:
- Origin behavior. When using NetStorage origin with Media products (Download Delivery, Adaptive Media Delivery, Object Delivery), the max-reconnects is now set to 1, ensuring that failover will trigger before timeout.
- Set-Variable behavior.
- Removed variable support from start and end of Substring variable extract as this functionality did not work correctly.
- Reverting validations that prevented the use of negative substring indices.
- Site Failover behavior. Variables now work correctly with the Modified Path option.
- Miscellaneous bug fixes, performance and uptime improvements.
