- The Early Data (0-RTT) Advanced behavior is now in general availability.
- The Query String Parameters and Supported HTTP Methods options are now available to all users.
- The following feature changes are now standard for all Ion Standard property configurations:
- Default Rule
- The Content Provider Code behavior moves from the Augment insights rule to the Default Rule.
- The Origin IP Access Control List behavior is added to the Default Rule and set to “Off”.
- Augment insights
- With the Content Provider Code behavior moving to the Default Rule, the Traffic reporting rule has been removed from the Augment insights rule.
- Enhanced Debug moves from the Default Rule to the Augment insights rule as a child rule.
- Accelerate delivery
- In the Origin Connectivity rule, the default timeout value for DNS Asynchronous Refresh is now “5 hours”.
- In the Protocol optimizations rule:
- The Early Data (0-RTT) behavior is added and set to “On”
- The Early Data (0-RTT) Advanced behavior is added with the Supported HTTP Methods option set to “GET”.
- The Prefetching child rule, and subsequent Prefetching Objects and Prefetchable Objects behaviors are all removed from the Accelerate delivery rule.
- In the Adaptive acceleration rule:
- The Automatic Server Push option for the Adaptive Acceleration behavior is now set to “Off”.
- Early Hints is added to the Accelerate delivery rule as a child rule, with the Early Hints behavior set to “Off”.
- Offload origin
- The Validate Entity Tag (ETag) behavior is set to “On”, with the Allow non-strict Strong ETags and Support Weak ETags options also set to “On”.
- In the Other static objects rule, “mp4” is added to the values in the File Extension match condition.
- In the HTML Pages rule:
- The Cache Key Query Parameters behavior is updated with the following parameters:
gclid,fbclid,utm_source,utm_campaign,utm_medium,utm_content,srsltid,ttclid,igclid,wbraid,gbraid - The Downstream Cacheability behavior is added to the Offload origin rule, with Caching Option set to “Allow caching, require validation (no-cache)” and Mark as Private set to “On”.
- The Cache Key Query Parameters behavior is updated with the following parameters:
- Strengthen security
- The Obfuscate debug info rule and Cache Tag Visibility behavior are removed from the Strengthen security rule.
- Redirect to HTTPS is added to Strengthen security as a child rule, with the match condition Request Protocol set to “HTTP”, and the Redirect behavior with the following options and settings:
- Redirect Type: “Default”
- Destination Protocol: “HTTPS”
- Destination Hostname: “Same as request”
- Destination path: “Same as request”
- Include Query String: “Yes”
- Redirect Status Code: “301 Moved Permanently”
- Minimize payload
- In the Compressible Objects child rule, the Content type match condition is updated with the following values:
