Feb 13, 2026 — Hardware token resync

New features and enhancements

  • Enterprise Center for Akamai MFA

    • Hardware token extended resync. If a token gets out of sync, usually due to a time drift or repeated button presses, OTPs may no longer fall within the normal validation range, resulting in authentication failures for users. This new feature lets you recover hardware tokens that are significantly out of sync.

    • Hardware token settings. The settings page for hardware tokens previously located at Multi-factor Authentication > General Settings > Settings > Hardware Tokens is no longer available. To add and manage hardware tokens, see the Devices page.

    • Assign hardware tokens. You can now assign hardware tokens to users from the Devices page. In Enterprise Center, navigate to Multi-factor Authentication > Devices, locate the unassigned token, and click Assign hardware token.

    • Enrollment emails CSV file. CSV export performance has been improved for faster downloads. Additionally, the CSV file now includes Created and Updated date columns, replacing the previous Status date column.

    • Policies user interface enhancement. Text and labels across the Policies UI were updated with consistent terminology for Allow, Skip, and Deny. These are naming updates only and policy behavior has not changed.

    • Fixed issues

      • Fixed an issue where the Integrations page couldn’t be sorted by the Updated status.

      • Removed the unused Verifying key field from Windows Logon integrations.

      • Global policy UI now shows all sections as enabled by default.
