New features and enhancements
Include Manually Provisioned Users. With this new control enabled, you can move existing, manually provisioned users to your EAA instance without requiring re-enrollment.
Microsoft Azure AD user provisioning. Akamai MFA SCIM support for Azure AD is now only available with the SCIM 2.0 compliant mode of Azure AD.
Akamai MFA CLI new capabilities. Refer to the CLI documentation to learn how to manage your Akamai MFA configuration using the command line interface.
Known issues

Users using the Windows Logon plug-in and attempting to unlock the Windows locked screen may sometimes encounter errors entering just the username.
Workaround: Users may try enteringdomain\username
in the username field to unlock the screen. -
Clicking the “Help” link present in the Akamai MFA authentication prompt may not open the link in the webview presented inside an application’s client, such as the WebEx client, that is used to authenticate with MFA for that application. As an alternative, the user may enter
<<MFA_DOMAIN>>/help
in a standard web browser and reach the same destination.

Supported Windows versions
The following Windows versions support the Akamai MFA Windows Logon plug-in:
- Clients: Windows 10
- Servers: Windows Server 2012 R1 Standard (legacy plug-in), Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019
With this release, the Windows Logon plug-in is upgraded to version 3.4.3. If you're running a plug-in version older than 3.4.3, refer to the Windows Logon plug-in instructions to learn how to update.
A legacy version of the plug-in has been released to support Windows Server 2012 R1 Standard. To learn more, refer to the Akamai MFA Legacy Windows Logon plug-in instructions.
