New features and enhancements

• Automated MFA device creation for users provisioned from EAA. When you import users from ​Akamai​ Enterprise Application Access (EAA), ​Akamai MFA​ automatically creates phone number and email authentication devices for imported users using their EAA information. Note the following:

  • If the user has a different phone number already enrolled in ​Akamai MFA​, importing their user data from EAA adds the EAA phone number as an additional device for that user.
  • If the EAA user has a phone number and MFA doesn’t, a new phone number device is created in ​Akamai MFA​ for that user.
  • If the EAA user lacks a phone number, but the MFA user does have a phone number, that existing MFA phone number is preserved.

These authentication devices are managed by EAA and you can’t delete them in ​Akamai MFA​.
