Ad Density (Play Level) Ad density experienced during playback of a single title. It equals the amount of time spent watching ads divided by the amount of time watching content. This dimension is automatically set to one of the following ranges: : 0%; 0-1%; 1-5%; 5-10%; 10+. Use this field to determine how ad density influences abandonment rates and utilize the insights to optimize your ad policy.
Ad Density (Visit Level) Ad density experienced during an entire visit. It equals the amount of time spent watching ads divided by the amount of time watching content. This dimension is automatically set to one of the following ranges: : 0%; 0-1%; 1-5%; 5-10%; 10+. Use this field to understand how ad density influences a rise in abandonment rates and utilize the insights to optimize your ad policy.
Ad Duration The duration of an advertisement. Ther 5 ranges for ad duration are: 0-5s; 5- 10s; 10-15s; 15-30s; 30s+. You can plot 'Ad Starts', 'Ad Abandons', 'Ad Abandons', 'Ad Abandonment Rate' and other ad metrics by 'Ad Duration' to understand if the audience is affected by the duration of the ads and if abandonment is driven by ad duration.
Ad Industry Category Ad industry category value is designed to store the vertical of advertising content. Ad metrics can be plotted by this dimension and location to understand if your ad targeting is working. For example, If 'Starts' and 'Abandons' are high for a particular ad vertical in a specific location, you may want to reconsider your ad targeting strategy.
Ad Partner Id This value must be set with a unique identifier for the network partner. Plotting ad metrics and quality metrics by this dimension helps you measure the performance of your ad partners.
Ad Placement Set automatically and indicates if the ad appears pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-roll. Plot ad metrics by this dimension to understand the efficacy of your ad packaging strategy. For example: If pre-roll 'Abandonment Rate' for clips vs. full Length content is high, you could consider taking away pre-roll ads from clips.
Ad Play% The percentage of advertisement viewed. This dimension is automatically set with five ranges of play percentage: Less than 25%; 25-49%; 50-74%; 75 - 99%; and 100%. You can plot this dimension with ad metrics to determine the point of ad playback at which viewers abandon the media.
Ad Server The value of the host that serves the advertisements. Plotting ad metrics and quality metrics by this dimension helps you measure the performance of your ad servers.
Ad Title Stores the name or title of the ad. This field can be used to understand if specific ad titles drive audience behavior in a positive or negative manner.
