This release includes several updates for Akamai Cloud Pulse (ACLP) Monitor operations, in the Metrics and Alerts sub-categories.

Webhook support for notification channels

In addition to email as a channel_type in an alert notification channel, you can now set up webhook. This lets you send alerts as an HTTP message, to a specified URL. This is available in these operations:

• Create a notification channel (POST /monitor/alert-channels). Set up the channel to use webhook as channel_type.
• Update a notification channel (PUT /monitor/alerts-channels/{channelId}). You can edit the webhook settings for an existing notification channel. (You can't change the channel_type for an existing notification channel.)
• List notification channels (GET /monitor/alert-channels). You can view the existing webhook configuration for all of your notification channels.
• Get a notification channel (GET /monitor/alert-channels/{channelId}. You can review the existing webhook settings for a specific notification channel.
• Verify a webhook notification channel (POST /monitor/alert-channels/verify). Before you create a new notification channel, or update the webhook settings for an existing channel, run this operation with your configuration to verify it's valid.

New widget_grouping field

The dashboard-related, Metrics sub-category operations can include the widget_grouping field, in the widgets array, in their response. This field gathers related widgets into named sections within a dashboard, when applicable. Widget groups are preset by ​Akamai​. The following operations can now include this field:

• List dashboards (GET /monitor/dashboards)
• Get a dashboard (GET /monitor/dashboards/{dashboardId})
• List dashboards for a service type (GET /monitor/services/{serviceType}/dashboards)
